Review:
A series of 47 printed forms certifying that certain individuals have sworn allegiance to the Crown of Great Britain and have enlisted for military service in a Battalion of Chasseurs under the command of Lt. Colonel Andreas Emmerich. All of the named persons appeared before David Oakley, justice of the peace of Westchester County, New York. These forms also give the age and occupation (trade) of the individuals who signed the form. Many of the enlistees were assigned to a company of Dragoons under the command of Capt. Benjamin Ogden.
