Review:
These papers include a 40-page personal narrative that Rogers had written circa 1925 about his experiences of serving in the army during the Civil War. He described the action he witnessed at 2nd Bull Run, Antietam, Gettysburg, and other battles. These papers also include numerous official records of 1st Artillery quartermaster store.
