This collection is comprised of timetables and travel brochures, issued between 1868 and 2003, mainly by United States transportation companies. The bulk of the material relates to railroads, but includes trolley lines, steamship companies, bus lines, and airlines. While the collection contains an extensive number of Amtrak timetables dating from 1972 to 1999, there are timetables from a variety of pre-Amtrak railroads, dating from 1868.
