  Review:

  This collection of halftone lithographic views of various sites in New York City was probably part of a set that originally consisted of 20 views. The publisher of these views is not identified, but the images are identical to those which appear on picture postcards issued by Alfred Mainzer during the late 1940s and early 1950s.

  Abstract:

  This collection consists chiefly of iconic views of popular landmarks and tourist attractions such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Rockefeller Center. Also includes views of structures that have been demolished or replaced by new construction, such as Pennsylvania Station, Madison Square Garden, Polo Grounds, and Yankee Stadium.
