Review:
The plates show architectural details of houses and other buildings in communities around New York State. Most of the structures were built in the eighteenth century and the first half of the nineteenth century; a few buildings date from the seventeenth century and several are not dated. The photographic prints were made mainly in the late 1930s; the images, for the most part, are not sharp. Some of the plates are lettered, in pencil, "Archt. Review." The architectural drawings represent the work of Benj. F. Betts, Claude Fayette Bragdon, E. Eldon Dean, Samuel R. DeLong, David S. Dobson, J.L. Dykeman, George Fulton, Jr., James Gambaro, Philip Hooker, James Ross, Chas. M. Stotz, J.F. Strobel, Jr., Francis S. Swales, Charles Symonds and Carl C. Tallman.
