Review:
Group comprised of scrapbooks related to the experiences and activities of Kate Hobbie Storms, first as child growing up in Sodus, New York, and later as student at Westminster College, in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. Childhood scrapbooks include drawings, writings, school papers, newspaper clippings, and other assorted mementos. Similarly, the college scrapbooks include letters and photographs along with a wide array of printed memorabilia The scrapbooks for 1966-1967 are filled with mementos of her studies and travels in Europe.
Review:
A 2016 accretion to the collection added a small amount of personal ephemera as well as a substantial amount of records related to Storms' work with numerous organizations: A.M.E. Zion Church (including the Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society), The Harriet Tubman Home, Inc., and the Underground Railroad History Project of the Capital Region.
